Wall of Jewels Rules: Must maintain jewelry items in your Featured Items tool, whether they are vintage, antique, costume, fine, or hand crafted does not matter as long as it follows Etsy guidelines. You choose which items are displayed with the Featured Item Ranking in Your Etsy. You will see more traffic from participating on the Wall of Jewels. Be prepared - stock up! Must maintain a link to the Wall of Jewels some place in your Etsy Shop store front. Additional linking any place else is highly encouraged, i.e. Twitter, Yahoo groups, Email signatures, Facebook, Websites, etc. The more places you have linked back to the WOJ, the better! This is what you will get from listing your shop on the Wall of Jewels: Periodic advertisements on Twitter, Facebook Profiles, Yahoo Jewelry Groups, Project Wonderful Sites, etc. Periodic opportunity to buy Ads. Take a look at both our Current and Past Ad Campaigns. Exposure in each shop held by anyone on the Wall of Jewels. I will add sellers periodically, as well as remove shops that are no longer selling or not complying with the linking policy. This means two things for you. First, it means you are only competing with a few shops for attention instead of over thousands on Etsy, eBay, Ruby Lane or Bonanzle. Second, it also gives you a quick place to go to restock from, when you run low. Be prepared - stock up! Repeat customers! With only one link to keep track of, your customers can easily return to your shops. You can have as many shops as you want on the Wall of Jewels but each shop is treated individually in regard to the rules. Shops are shuffled periodically to refresh the look of the page. Shops will be listed in the order of who uploaded the most new items since the last check. This rewards those folks working hardest and keeps a fresh appearance on the page near the top. So YOU can determine where you are listed on the page by your own efforts! (It really pays to read the works of King Solomon. It's the only way I figured out the most fair way to do it!) Because of how slow the page can load, after 30 Etsy-mini shops, we will have subsequent pages for the shops that didn't rank in the top 30. It's up to you if you get ranked in the top 30! Remember your location on the wall will be determined by how many new items you upload. To add a link to your Etsy Shop Store Front, go to Your Etsy: Scroll down on the left to Shop Setup links and choose Appearance. You can paste it in the shop announcement section. It will not show up as a link, it will just be text since its an off Etsy link. http://www.wallofjewels.com To determine what jewels show in your Etsy Mini: Items are shown on the Wall of Jewels by using an Etsy-Mini. You choose which items are displayed by using the Featured Item Ranking in Your Etsy. You choose the items that will be viewed by selecting them by: click Your Etsy click the star next to items you want to feature (the star will appear green after a second) after selecting the ones you want, you click the Rank Featured link in tiny print to the right of the column header over the stars. This lets you move things up or down the list of featured items. The top two are those items that will show up on your Wall of Jewels ad. When in Vacation Mode: When you put your shop in vacation mode, it leaves a big blank spot on the Wall of Jewels. Whenever possible, please let me know ahead of time so I can remove your Etsy Mini before that happens. When a shop is in vacation mode, the Etsy-Mini will be removed from the Wall of Jewels. It will be up to the shop owner to let me know when they are ready for their shop to return to the Wall of Jewels. If you have paid for an advertising campaign, there will be no refund or proration of the fee for that time period. The Fee is for advertising the Wall of Jewels specifically, not individual shops. The advertising purchased in advance still took place while you were in vacation mode. As always, your Text link at the bottom will remain as long as a link to the Wall of Jewels is viewable in your shop store front. *Please note that inclusion of a shop on the Wall of Jewels is not an endorsement of the shop policies, contents, prices or shipping practices of the seller.
